gryphyeSo today something became a whole lot more real for me. Erin really finally did it. I held her book in my hand and skimmed through a story I've already read in three incarnations. Congratz Erin. It's been a long time coming, but it's awesome. And I love it.
Even if my name was there in black and white. Okay okay, I'm kidding. But no really, my name is in there! And I'm like, woah... So awesome dude. I've been giggly all night about it.
Driving home though, I got to thinking. All this time I keep saying I'm gonna get published, I was going to do it under a pseudonym, Lucinda James. But Lucinda's just a fantasy, and a badly done one at that.
Still waiting on One Story to reply about my submission. If they accept it, I'm going to put my name on it. g'bye Lucinda. hey, don't look at me that way! You still have two credits to your name!
Btw, Erin is Zhai on LJ and this is her book: Sword of Fire and Sea. Amazon has it available although officially it's not supposed to be released until June 21rst.
